About El Dorado School of Performing Arts

Our Mission

At El Dorado School of Performing Arts, our mission is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance by providing exceptional performing arts education in a positive, encouraging, and family-centered environment.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover their potential. Whether a dancer dreams of performing on stage, pursuing a future in the arts, or simply finding a fun and supportive place to grow, our goal is to help them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Dance teaches so much more than technique. It teaches perseverance when things get challenging. It teaches responsibility, teamwork, and dedication. It teaches young people how to set goals, overcome obstacles, and celebrate their achievements. These lessons extend far beyond the studio walls and become valuable tools that dancers carry with them throughout their lives.

At EDSPA, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment where every dancer feels valued, respected, and encouraged to be themselves. We celebrate individuality, embrace creativity, and foster friendships that often last a lifetime. We believe the best learning happens when students feel safe, supported, and excited to come to class each week.

Our instructors strive to provide quality training while nurturing each dancer's unique strengths and abilities. We recognize that every dancer's journey is different, and we are dedicated to helping each student grow at their own pace while challenging them to reach new heights.

As a community-focused studio, we are passionate about making a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom. We are proud to serve El Dorado and the surrounding communities, creating opportunities for young people to express themselves, build confidence, and experience the joy that comes from the performing arts.

Above all, our mission is simple: to create a place where dancers can dream big, work hard, build lasting friendships, and discover just how capable they truly are.

Because when a child believes in themselves, there is no limit to what they can achieve.

Our Story

Every great adventure starts with a dream—and El Dorado School of Performing Arts started in the backseat of a car.

In July 2025, our founder Piper Wise was on a road trip to St. Louis with her best friends when a simple conversation turned into something much bigger. Somewhere along the drive, an idea began to take shape: what if there was a dance studio that felt different? A place where dancers were challenged, encouraged, celebrated, and truly felt like they belonged.

That idea didn't stay in the backseat for long. Fueled by a passion for dance and a desire to serve the El Dorado community, Piper got to work turning that dream into reality. After months of planning, preparation, and determination, El Dorado School of Performing Arts officially opened its doors for the very first time in January 2026.

From day one, EDSPA was built on the belief that dance is about so much more than learning steps. It's about building confidence, creating friendships, developing discipline, and discovering what you're capable of achieving. It's about celebrating victories big and small, learning from challenges, and finding joy in the journey.

From our Tiny Tots taking their very first dance class to our older dancers performing under the stage lights, every student who walks through our doors becomes part of our studio family. We strive to create a space where dancers feel supported, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

What started as a dream on a road trip has grown into a thriving community of dancers, families, teachers, and supporters who make EDSPA what it is today. Every recital, every class, every costume, every standing ovation, and every smile reminds us why we started this journey in the first place.

We are incredibly proud to call El Dorado home and are honored to serve the families who trust us with their dancers. As we continue to grow, our goal remains the same: to inspire a lifelong love of dance while creating a place where every child can learn, grow, and shine.

Because sometimes the best stories begin when someone dares to dream big from the backseat of a car.
